Student Gowns
You can now reserve your regalia from Gaspard until May 19th a 11:55 pm. If you do not reserve your regalia, by this deadline, you will still be able to attend and participate in convocation, but you will be charged a late fee of $33.00 plus a service fee, payable directly to the gown provider on the day of your convocation ceremony. You will receive an email that will supply you with the link to reserve your regalia.
Guest Tickets
Two (2) guest tickets are made available for each graduate to be reserved.
You will be sent an email with a link for you to reserve two guest tickets. Please do not contact the Graduation Unit or Student Enrolment Services to see if more than two tickets may be reserved.
Each graduate is eligible for two (2) tickets for their convocation ceremony if reserved by May 25, 2024. Graduates that do not reserve their guest tickets by this date are not guaranteed that tickets will be available for your guests during round two. These tickets will be put into the pool of tickets for extra ticket requests.
Extra Guest Tickets
If you would like to have more than 2 guest tickets you will be able to request up to 4 additional tickets and even though you request additional tickets it is not guaranteed you will receive some of all of the tickets you request. You will be emailed the additional tickets by May 31, 2024. You will not be contacted if you will not be getting additional tickets.
DO NOT contact the Graduation Unit to inquire or ask for additional tickets. Emails will not be responded to.
Only guests with a ticket will be granted admittance to the auditorium.
Tickets
Guest tickets will be emailed to the graduates/graduands KPU email account.
Seating Policy
Only guests with a ticket will be granted admittance to the auditorium. All attendees, including any small children taking a seat, require a ticket for admission. Seating is first-come, first-served. The audience seating area will be open to guests with tickets 90 minutes prior to the ceremony. Guests must be seated at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. If guests are not seated 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, guests that do not have seats will be seated if there are any empty guest seats. The ceremonies can be viewed via the live online broadcast of the ceremony (link to follow). All guests and graduates are invited to the reception in Surrey Main Atrium immediately following the ceremony.
