Fees & Costs
- Supplies - electrical test meters, hand tools may be purchased by students, or borrowed from the department during the course. Each student will require 3-ring binders, pen, pencil, coloured markers, mathematical calculator, and paper for classroom work.
- Additional Costs - text modules and the cost of "C" Gas certificate course. Some optional test equipment or special tools may be purchased or built by the student.

The cost of books over the course of the program is approximately $650.25, including all modules and one text.
Students may be eligible for student loans. If you wish to obtain a BC Student Assistance application, contact the Student Awards and Financial Assistance Office.
Employment Insurance Eligibility:
Students may qualify for Employment Insurance benefits during an in-school technical training session. Refer to www.apprenticetrades.ca for additional information on the cost of apprenticeship.
