Yoga Classes at Kwantlen
Yoga is among the oldest known systems of health practiced in the world today. Research into Yoga practices has had a strong impact on the fields of stress reduction, mind/body medicine and energy medicine. The physical postures, breathing exercises and meditation practices of Yoga have been proven to reduce stress, lower blood pressure and improve flexibility. All the classes at Kwantlen offer the Hatha style of yoga.
Yoga Schedule and Rates - FALL SEMESTER TBA
Register in advance and save! If you are at the Richmond or Langley Camps, you can bring your registration form and payment to the first class (exact cash/cheque). Drop Ins pay exact cash only $8 at the class.
The Kwantlen Student Association's Student Health Insurance Program (SHIP) is pleased to provide discounted rates for yoga classes (see above rates).

FAQ’S
Registration: Register in advance and save money! Download a Yoga Registration Form (top of page) and send it in along with payment to Athletics & Recreation, Surrey Campus. Registration payment may be made by cash or cheque payable to “Kwantlen Athletics”. Sorry, we do not accept credit or debit cards.
Drop-in Yoga: If you would like to attend a single class, please bring exact cash only. There are no discounts for drop-in participants.
What to Bring: Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Participants are welcome to bring their own mat; however, mats are provided.
Can beginners participate? Absolutely. Make sure you let the instructor know that you are new to yoga so that they can help you with modifications and clearer instruction. The instructors can adapt the class to all levels of ability and special considerations.
