The main theme of the conference is: “Contemporary Reflections on Canadian and Global Issues”. We invite proposals that answer the following two questions:
- What have been the consequences and the effects of colonial relations, post-colonial structures, and neo-liberal policies in Canada and in different parts of the world?
- What are some of the social, cultural, economic, legal, and political challenges of the globalization of information, the economy, and politics for marginalized groups such as Indigenous communities, racialized, ethnic and religious groups, women, people with disability, and other social categories?
