Dr. Gillian Creese (UBC): "Migration, Gender and Identity Across Generations"
Cresse_Picture
Gillian Creese is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of British Columbia. Her research interests include migration, racialization and gender; equity issues in work and trade unions; and feminist research methods. Her most recent books include The New African Diaspora in Vancouver: Migration, Exclusion and Belonging (University of Toronto Press, 2011), and (with Wendy Frisby) Feminist Community Research: Case Studies and Methodologies (University of British Columbia Press, 2011).
